Soar Media - Sports Marketing Solutions - Leicester
In early 2010, Leicester City Council approached Soar Media to redevelop the "Lifestyle Fitness" brand which covers their 11 city based sports and leisure facilities.
The initial task was to help develop a logo and brand which was modern, eye-catching and of a similar standard to that of the national gym chains. Additionally, all materials had to be clear and concise for a wide audience and to fit with DDA guidelines. From brochures to timetables, leaflets to A0 street advertising - the new brand has been well recieved.
In addition to the extensive rebrand project, Leicester City Council (LCC) elected to utilise the marketing and exposure strength of Soar Magazine, through a one-year advertorial partnership. Issues 9, 10, 11 and 12 of Soar Magazine featured an integrated ten pages of coverage, including campaigns, adverts, case studies, previews and photography of the work carried out by the Sports Services department of LCC. This coincided with the rebrand of ‘Lifestyle Fitness’, helping to market to a relevant and engaged sports and health audience, through the publications network of over 900 venues across Leicester and Leicestershire.
