DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT SUCCESS
The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA ran its annual Referee Development Summit at Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road last Monday (8th February), with officials across the county gaining an insight from some of the game’s top referees.
Providing a keynote speech on the evening was Premier League official Jonathan Moss. Referees of all ages and levels were able to ask questions, whilst club representatives were also invited to gain a better understanding of the challenges facing referees.
The evening also saw awards presented to Leicestershire’s stand-out referees, with young official Olly Mackey named Referee of the Year (pictured).
