HOLMES PARK BECOMES NEW HOME OF RISING CITY STARS

Leicestershire & Rutland County FA’s Holmes Park has become the official new home venue of Leicester City’s Under-23 Development Squad after extensive redevelopments to the Whetstone site.

Improvements to the playing surface, changing rooms and the inclusion of a new stand for supporters has made the venue perfect to host games for City’s stars of the future. The Development Squad was in Premier League 2 action at their new home on Monday night in front of over 600 fans, with Steve Beaglehole’s men coming from 2-0 behind to draw 3-3 against Manchester City.
