LEICESTER MARKET TO HOST REMEMBRANCE SERVICE
Leicester Market will come to a standstill as shoppers and traders pay their respects on Remembrance Day.
On Saturday 11th November, a small service of remembrance will take place in Leicester Market from 10.50am.
Members of the Royal British Legion will gather for the commemorative service, which is to be led by Reverend Canon Karen Rooms from Leicester Cathedral, with the Lord Mayor also set to be in attendance to deliver a speech.
At 11:00am, a bugler will sound ‘The Last Post’ to mark the beginning of two minutes of silence.
