STOP SMOKING SERVICE USER ENCOURAGES PEOPLE TO QUIT
With the nation marking No Smoking Day, a Wigston-based former smoker, who quit with help from the Leicester Stop Smoking Service, features in today’s (9 March) Leicester Mercury, encouraging people to become smokefree.
Cathy Taylor gave up cigarettes in January, and is one of 1,512 people the Service has helped to stop since April 2015.
The support of an advisor, encouragement from her family and the use of an e-cig were all key factors in helping Cathy to quit, she said.
