poppy-fieldA service of remembrance will take place at Leicester Market on Friday (11 November) at 10:50am.

The service will be led by The Venerable Dr Tim Stratford, who is the Archdeacon of Leicester, and the Lord Mayor will be in attendance to give a speech. Members of the Royal British Legion will also gather for the commemorative service.

At 11:00am, a bugler will sound ‘The Last Post’ to mark the beginning of two minutes of silence. Reveille will be played to mark the end of the silence, before the Archdeacon leads prayers and a blessing.
