ap2The Leicester-based Achievement Project has recently given 10 local youngsters, aged between 16 and 20-years-old, the chance to take their first steps into securing a sport related career by becoming an Achievement Project Sports Apprentice.

As part of the project’s 2013 programme, all of the individuals selected will have the opportunity to gain accredited, industry recognised qualifications and valuable experience within school and community settings, whilst getting paid at the same time.

aplogoThe first ten apprentices (pictured right), who went through an application and interview process before being selected, will deliver high-quality sport sessions whilst working full-time within various schools across Leicester over a one year period. They will be assisting with coaching during school hours and during summer camps.
