LRSPacked with numerous and varied activities, Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport’s ‘Active Ageing Week’ springs in to action between 29th September – 5th October 2014.

With the aim to get as many older adults engaging in the recommended guidelines of being active for at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity per-week, Active Ageing Week is designed to kick start a more active lifestyle amongst older individuals.

From walking, swimming, kurling and dance to seated exercise, bowls, Pilates and golf; there is an activity for everyone to enjoy.
