FFDThe Leicestershire and Rutland County FA are currently supporting Leicester City Football Club in the Community in the provision of free football sessions, which are being delivered across the county by Leicester City’s community coaches.

The sessions form part of the Football Association’s Female Football Development Programme, which aims to progress the women and girls’ game whilst driving participation growth and retention. Over 240 sessions have been booked in schools in Leicestershire, which will take girls aged 14-18 through their paces. The County FA will then provide exit routes into local grassroots clubs, so that participants can continue their football.
