FREE TRAINING FOR BUDDING FOOTBALL STEWARDS
Local people are being given the opportunity to train to become qualified football stewards, free of charge, by Leicester-based organisation, The Achievement Project, and the
Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.
The Achievement Project is running a free NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety for anybody aged 19 and 23 without a full Level 2 qualification, whilst it costs just £50 for anybody else aged 19 and over, meaning a saving of over £600 on the usual price.
The course takes place on March 2nd, 3rd and 9th between 9am and 5pm at Holmes Park, with four further observations taking place during matches at the FA venue.
