MORE PLAYERS PLEDGE TO QUIT SMOKING
A number of amateur footballers across Leicestershire have pledged to stop smoking, following continued work between the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Stop Smoking Service, Leicestershire and Rutland County FA and Community Projects Plus (CPP).
As part of the ‘Balls to Stop’ campaign, CPP have been interacting with footballers at a host of venues, with those pledging to quit smoking through the service receiving a free Nike football for their club.
This week, numerous players enjoying games at Aylestone Recreation Grounds and Goals Soccer Centre vowed to kick the habit for good.
