cppThe Positive Futures Leicester programme, delivered by Community Projects Plus, uses sport as a tool to tackle anti-social behaviour and boost the confidence of local young people aged between 8 and 19-years-old in the Braunstone, Northfields, Beaumont Leys and Highfields areas.

A special football tournament to showcase the youngsters’ talents, called the Community Projects Plus Cup, is due to kick-off on Monday (February 11th) with the first of five area competitions taking place at Braunstone Grove.

The winners of each area tournament will progress to the final at Northfield House Primary School Ball Court on Saturday March 9th.

Weekly football and multi-sport sessions in all of the areas are on-going. Anybody wanting to get involved should visit www.communityprojectsplus.org
